How to Upload Images for an Audio Experience

Here’s how to upload images for the Urban Archive Audio Experience.

Step 1:

First, log into the CMS at https://catalog.urbanarchive.org/login

This will take you to the Urban Archive Home Page. Next click “Image Uploads” via the home page.

Step 2:

Then click “Upload Image” at the top right.

This will take you to the page where you can upload images. Next, select the image that you wish to upload.

Once, you have selected your image. There are two further fields: Caption and Credit

The Caption field is for descriptive and informational text i.e. what the picture is of or the general context of the image.

The Credit field is for crediting the photo i.e. to citing the archive, artist, and/or institution that owns the rights to it.

Step 3:

Once you are ready to upload the image, click save in the bottom left hand corner.

If the image has been successfully uploaded then you will see this screen and it is ready to be used in an Audio Experience!
